My name is Mark Roman and this Site is dedicated to my MoM and DaD who are in my book Legends in the Sport that dominated over a half a Century and that is Roller Derby...My MoM Carol "Peanuts" Meyer started Skating in 1958 and my DaD "Dynamite" Tony Roman started Skating in 1960...they met in 1960 and were married in 1964...they have 3 daughters Renee,Dina and Denise and 1 Son Mark,Mark and Denise are Faternal Twins. My Father passed away from Cancer on December 24th 1988 and there isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about him and i miss him dearly,i was blessed to see my MoM and DaD inducted into the Roller Derby Hall of Fame on August 12th 2006,my MoM and DaD will always be my heroes in my book and in my opinion they both made Roller Derby what it is for over 20 years when they Skated and they were the lead Jammers in the Sport when they Retired in 1981 and i echo the crowd when they would cheer for the San Fransisco Bay Bombers when they would say "Go Bay Bombers Go!!!". Now a bit about myself,I'm an easy to talk to outgoing person who is Energetic and Outgoing and i love to laugh and smile...i have been a dancer for 7 years,i dance Freestyle,House,and Salsa and i have my own Dancing Style that sets me apart from everyone else and i love to dance to Disco Jams/Progressive House/ Funky House/Hip-Hop and Break-Beats...i also like to spend time with my Best Friend's Marie and Jasmine and my other Friend's that have been there for me and that make me smile and laugh...i read the Bible,study Greek Grammer/Theology and Christian Apologetics,yes i'm a Jesus freak but just beacuse i Love the Lord that doesn't mean that i can't have fun and enjoy my life that God has given me,i love to go out and Dance to Funky House,Break-Beats and Hip-Hop Music...hang out at Starbucks(my 2nd home!!..lol)...watch DVD'S,drive around and listen to Music,and surround myself with positive and loving people.
