I'm 25 (yeah I'm old I know) and I just graduated from Chapman University; the school of my dreams, no really! ^.^ I'm got my degree in music. I honestly love playing the violin. A couple of years ago, I didn't know if I wanted to play anymore, but recently my love for my instrument has been rekindled and it is all I can think about. I have been playing since I was 11 and I haven't given up on it yet because it hasn't given up on me.

My goal is to become a better musician in the broadest possible sense of the word. In doing so I also want to stay very humble to everything that I have received in my life thus far. I am also trying to publish a book of my own poetry one day so look for that in the near future.

But outside of all of that good stuff, I'm just a cool, down to earth, funny, enegetic girl who can be found reading a good book, working on some challenging...okay easy crossword puzzles which has now ventured into the world of Sudoku, listening to Silverchair (Silverwho is what you just said right...just keep scrolling on the page) or HIM (I said keep scrolling ^.^) writing poetry and hanging out with my friends.

So after all of that introduction, you are still probably asking who this person is? Well, I am a complex, sweet, simple, vulnerable, talented, passionate, driven and dedicated soul that is dedicated to my music, my friends, my family but most importantly myself. I am who I am...^.^ So don't let my "fucks" and "shits" fool you because I'm a GIRL experiencing life. No, really! I just happen to have a dirty mouth." ^.^

Music:

I love baroque and classical music a lot more now than I did in the past. I love works by Beethoven, Grieg, Mozart, Smetna, Sibelius, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, DvorÃ¡k, Haydn, Prokofiev and so much more. I also really love anything played by Gil Shaham.

I discovered Gil Shaham when I saw him play The Sibelius Violin Concerto with the New York Phil Harmonic in 2005 and it was effing amazing. His tone was so beautiful and his playing was flawless. He inspires me to to keep reaching for my dream.

Also I love poetry by Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Charles Baudelaire and Micheal Eastons' "Eighteen Straight Whiskey's." They inspire my own words.
But I also can't forget about the classics: If You Give A Mouse A Cookie and Go Dog Go. ^.^

Currently I am reading "Self Reliance" by Emmerson.
