IS AN URBAN BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO CELEBRTAE THE HISTORY AND LEGACY OF URBAN SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND CULTURE AND ITS IMPACT WORLD WIDE. . Vision Statement Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center will be part of a movement that draws fully from the deep well of World's potential for freedom, opportunity, and justice. We Show case the Universal respect on the changes that were made through urban sports, entertainment, and culture and its impact world wide. This is captured in our message of hope and possibility for a future anchored in dignity, sensitivity, and mutual respect; a message that challenges each of us to recognize that the world's true strength lies in its diversity of talents. The vision of Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational Cultural Center is one that captures the essence of this message, a message in which we so eloquently affirms the commanding tenants of the Universal Dream — Freedom, Democracy and Opportunity for All; a noble quest that gained legacy, icons and Prizes and one that continues to influence people and societies throughout the world. Upon reflection, we are reminded that Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational Cultural Center is a lifelong dedication to the idea of achieving human dignity through urban sports, entertainment and culture, with global relationships of well being will serve to instill a broader and deeper sense of duty within each of us— “It’s a duty to be both responsible citizens and conscientious stewards of freedom and democracy.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.We plan to commemorate the life and work of urban sports, entertainment and culture. By leading in collaborative educating, funding, entertainment and culture, thorough a construction process in the creation of a memorial to honor Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center national and international contributions to world peace through non-violent social changePennies for Legends Donation Program We have the pennies for Legends program that will be a part of our community donation program it asks us all to give a penny each for all the Legends of urban sports, entertainment and culture have done to make our lives better world wide. We will raise money for the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center The Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center From its humble beginnings in 2007 to today, the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center will grow in both size and stature. To someday be recognized worldwide as the premier in urban sports, entertainment and culture showplace, it’s doubtful that even the most optimistic of those who led the drive to bring the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational Center to Los Angeles, California could have envisioned the successes it will realize. A truly exhilarating museum, exhibition ,educational and cultural center, the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center pays tribute to the talents and triumphs of Urban Sports, Entertainment and Culture’s greatest stars. Chronicled within the walls of the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center are the stories and circumstances of play that bring to life words such as courage, dedication, vision, fair play, and skill. Why We Need Your Help the Hoodstock Foundation Inc is the owner of the Hoodstock Hall of Legends Museum / Educational and Cultural Center a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational museum. Your support allows us to continue our mission to continually honor those people who have made amazing contributions in Urban Sport, Entertainment and Culture and to educate the public about this important part of Universal Heritage.
