Get to Know Who she really is…
Born and raised in Joliet, Illinois, G-String was young and aspiring when she began recording cassette tapes of songs on the radio and matching the beats. At the young age of 14, she was fascinated with mixing music and decided to dedicate her time and money to learning the skill. By the time G-String turned 18, she bought some turntables and began practicing daily. She didn't leave the house unless it was for school for 6 months, because she was teaching herself how to spin. Before long her skills grew and she started to spin house parties, weddings, and school functions. Only one year later, she was hired at a club called "The Scene" in Chicago. The amateur skills were fading and her unique spinning style landed her a job at "The Royal," another club in Chicago. She has been a resident at Circuit, Lava Lounge, Sound Bar, The New Deja Vu, Maggies, 930 Lounge, Primo Lounge, and Puerto Vallarta. She has been on the cover of Nightspots magazine.
