My passions are writing and interior design. I love beautiful black artwork, music that touches the soul, spontaneity, and people that make me smile and laugh...as long as they laugh at my jokes too. If and when the mood hits me I write poetry, watch sports, cook a scrumptious meal, go out with friends, or just stay home for some R and R....that's rest and relaxation fellas, not Robert and Reggie!

It's hard to pick a favorite....right off the top of my head I think of Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Purple Rain, Grease 2, Color Purple, Waiting to Exhale, Father of the Bride I and II, Love Jones, Love and Basketball, New Jack City, Sweet November, Forrest Gump, Coming to America (That's beautiful...What is that, velvet?), Gladiator, Training Day, Crash, and The Notebook. Last but not least, any movie with Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino.
Not big on the boob tube.....but Law and Order, CSI, ER, and Grey's Anatomy get my full attention so don't call me when they're on...okay? Glad we got that squared away....next subject!
Any book by Toni Morrison is a must read! I also enjoy reading Eric Jerome Dickey, Zane, and Pearl Cleage. When my own book is released, I hope it's on everyone's must read list!
