About Me
Hed is the pixie dust that makes magic happen. It is the love you feel in your heart when all seems lost. It is the sheer orgasmic joy of music exploding and consuming everything in its path. Its about you. Its about us. So, lets make some beautiful noises together.
We are based in the city of Preston, Lancashire. Formed in August 2005, our ethos is to try to create greater awareness and interest in live music. We put together awesome line-ups, we often make entry free, we look after bands, we get busy crowds - everything most other cities fail to do. (meow)
We organise gigs at two seperate venues within the city - the Kolor Bar on the main high street and the Mad Ferret which is located opposite the University. We put together four band line-ups with a mixture of local bands and out of town acts. We also host regular all day events throughout the year.
If you are interested in playing at one of our events send us a message via myspace - preferably with as much detail as possible. We love getting mail. However, we do receive many requests from bands and we can't always reply - but we'll always check you out - don't worry.
