About Me

ALL ABOUT ME- Apparently this is supposed to be a narrative. So, OK...here I am. The following things describe who I am: Human; blue eyed; long haired (That's never going away, so long as I actually have hair!); I'm a technophile who can't afford his additiction. I enjoy playing music on occasion and do a bit of writing on the side.I live in Clear Lake, Texas where I work at NASA. That makes me a bit of a Science geek, and definitely a Sci-Fi Geek. But I also have a passion for music. I enjoy music of nearly all shapes and sizes (Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Hip-Hop- I'm good with all of it). As a writing person, I also read a whole lot. Anything from detective stories to sci-fi are great. It dosen't matter to me what the genre is, it just has to have a good story to entrall me. I'm an extremely social person, so I love going out to places both familar and brand new. You never know what you may like until you try it is what my parents always said- they were mostly right, except for liver and onions...I was pretty sure on that one. Good food and drink is always on the top of my list for things I'm wanting. I love all kinds of food, but I have a particular taste for the exotic (ALL asian food, indian, you name it!)I believe in the following (in this order): life; happiness; physics; karma; adventure; chocolateSo, that's me in sort of a nutshell I guess...I may have to edit this later when I realize how long this is getting.

My Interests

Music, books, movies, drinks, food, a good conversation....

I'd like to meet:

I'm always interested in meeting more cool people who live in the same area or doing the same things as I do.ABOUT MY FRIENDS- I just found this nice little piece of code that allows me to customize my friend space. Check back to my site often as I'm planning to start a cool networking system...I'm going to start updating my custom friends list on a weekly basis. The LEFT side of friends will contain artists and friends who I either know or know through their music. Please check out their sites, and we can all be happier...Everyone else (aka The RIGHT side) are just good pals or otherwise what I consider family...

Music:

I used to work in the music business, so my tastes are really all over the place. If it helps, here's a list of the 5 CD's I'd want if I were stranded on a deserted island(always subject to change): 1) Marley-Bablyon by Bus 2) Miles Davis-Bitches' Brew 3) Ben Harper- Live at the Hollywood Bowl 4) Radiohead-The Bends 5) Jeff Buckley-GraceThe new Live Foo Fighters album "Skin & Bones" hasn't left my CD player since I bought it though...

Movies:

Action, Comedy, SciFi, Thriller, Fantasy...anything that looks fun or cool or both.

Television:

I always make time for CSI:Vegas and Miami, along with 24. This season, I've also gotten into Heroes. I loathe reality TV shows, and run from the sight of them.

Books:

I read fiction, occasionally non-fiction.
