I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Crafty sort of lass, who likes to play at Renaissance Faires and learn about all sorts of interesting things. On way of getting teaching credentials. Mom of three, owned by a cat and a dog. I seem to have a duality in my life... except for one sweet husband (whom is about all I can handle!). Hiking is my main sport, but I do well indoors too. I also love RPGs.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who like the Elizabethan time period for seriousness or for fun. People who do handicrafts, especially needlework. Gamers welcomed! However, I am not looking to "hook up", or for a lover. I'm in a very happy, satisfying relationship that needs no others. Is it boring? Not to me. And I hope you can find the same kind of satisfaction that I have.**NEW** I should also mention that I would like to meet people who share more interests then the fact that we live in the same town. Yes, it's nice to know people who live nearby... but if we have nothing else in common, then it's not going to make for scintillating conversation. I also do not respond well to groups or people who will send out blanket requests to befriend. Read my profile, and decide if you have something in common with me, ok?

My Blog

wow, has it been awhile...

whoo. So... yeah. Not much really going ..s in life, many good, some not so good. But isn't it how it is?   I don't really check here all that often. You'll find me in other places should you eve...

Stuff and things

As I'm working on condensing the amount of stuff I have, I can't help but consider George Carlin's riff about how we handle our stuff. How we have to buy larger houses for our stuff, how we have to do...

One of the most important netiquette rules...

Do not feed the trolls. Such a simple thing to say. An easy way to stop the arserags who stomp over your internet dandelion field with their rudeness. And yet... it's so frickin' hard! I've been...
