Makeedo got into touch with Drum & Bass in the late 90s, when he bought a CD Sampler by chance. Infected by the so called Drum & Bass - virus, he started to DJ just a few months later. In 2001, he started a weekly radioshow, called Hyperphonic Radio, where he supported local Austrian DJs and presented his audience the newest releases of the scene. The response to his show grew constantly and he got invited to play at smaller parties in Lower Austria and Vienna. Hyperphonic Radio went on supporting the scene untill August 2004. The following year he lived in Erlangen in Germany. At a gig in Ulm he met his actual crew, the Bassheadz. Since Octobre 2004 he is an active member supporting the community and the local scene. The parties the Bassheadz organized were a big success and because of their local gigs and warmups around Ulm, they got more and more recognized by the partypeople. In June 2006 they organized their first big party at a nice venue called Donauturm with Youn Ax as Headliner
Besides his activities with the Bassheadz and his DJing, Makeedo had a big sideproject: He is the founder and publisher of the only Drum & Bass magazine in German language:

Since February 2005, he and his team worked very hard to provide the German speaking world with the latest Drum & Bass news quaterly.
Makeedo got his first big gig in Buenos Aires: The argentinian DJ BadBoy Orange booked him as the Headliner at the local club Bahrein, Buenos Aires.
