A year in of doing the back to back show with P on LTR, and P tired of doing the show and naturally offered it to Nevci, to which she grabbed with both hands and gratefully made it her own: Nevcis Niteride, 10pm – 12am Tuesday nights ;) ...................................October 2006 brought Nevcis Niteride to an end – and to a new beginning for her radio-wise!................As of January 2007, Nevci is currently on xtremeformusic.com (101.7FM) on Saturdays drive-time 4pm-6pm......Nevci continues to spread her creative ability as a versatile selector, dj & presenter, reflecting all of Nevcis Niteride on to her brand new show for her new spandangalous audience to enjoy.......!....EXTRA FILM PARTS & MUSIC VIDEOS... In 2002 Nevci made her first short film entitled Turkish Coffee. The black comedy was premiered at the Rio Cinema 3 months after it was made and was a great success in the Turkish Cypriot community. Nevci played the lead role of Leyla, whose parents are trying to marry her off, although they do not know a serious secret that she is hiding from them and get a nasty shock right at the end when they find out!.................ROAD RUNNER PHOTOGRAPHY.............. 2002 was also the year that she started taking her two passions more seriously and combined them: Drum & Bass and Photography. Nevci had been a resident on the Drum and Bass scene since 1993 (aged 17) and not only loved being in front of a camera, but behind one! She started working for Pyrotechnic Radio (internet radio station) at this time and supplied them with pictures by travelling over the UK during my weekends, to reach raves, festivals & award ceremonies, snapping away at the heaving crowds, hard-working DJ’s and MC’s, dancers and everything else that the D&B had to offer…!...............................Nev eventually started doing live interviews for PYRORADIO.COM (FORMALLY KNOWN AS PYROTECHNIC RADIO.COM) as well as the photography and whilst taking questions from a live world wide chatroom, interviewed the likes of The Ragga Twins, V Recordings Bryan G, Clayton from TOV & Renegade Hardware, Pendulum, MC Bassman (also filmed) and Fatman D & Shortston to name a few...................CODE OF THE STREETS...................... 2005 was the start of her working as a D&B presenter for Code of the Streets. Code took her to Winchester to Homelands (unforgettable experience) where MC’s and DJ’s were queuing outside the tent in the freezing cold waiting for her to interview them! She also covered Breakin Science and MC Convention with Code of the Streets. Memorable interviews included Shabba & Skibba, Paul Ibiza, MC Navigator and DJ Phantasy.........
