Charmaine was born in California while her parents were touring in the US with their music group, EP, and at age 11 she started singing and touring with them.
At 15 she recorded her first album, which was a self-titled CD of songs that reflected who she is as a person and with God.
Charmaine, who moved to the US from Australia in 2001 , is a young woman with a goal. What is that goal? Well, it’s to share the word of God, through music ministry, with as many people as she can come in contact with.
"Singing and ministry are two things that have been a part of me and who I am, throughout my life. My desire and my prayer is that whatever may happen in the future, whatever I say and whatever I do, that it will please Him and give glory to God."
In August of 2002, Charmaine released "All about Jesus". It comprises of ten tracks; some traditional worship songs with a bit more of an edge on them, as well as some songs co-written by Charmaine herself - such as "I love you Lord", "Acceptable", "Only You", "You are here with me", "Give you all my love", and "You Found me".
As back up singer and opening act for fellow Aussie Rebecca St. James, she has had the oportunity to go forth with her goal. She has traveled throughout Europe, North America, New Zealand and of course her home turf of Australia, sharing her love for God as well as music to thousands at a time!
Charmaine passionately states:
"I don’t know why He’s called me to the other side of the world, but I’m in His will. I just hope that God can talk through me, because when He’s lifted up, He can draw people to Him."
