Hey, I'm Myk with a Y
I'm Michael, but please, call me Myk. I'm nicer that way. Anyway, I'm a metalhead by nature, but I have one of the most diverse music tastes out there. I love jazz, art music, blues, electronica, avant-garde, classical, pop, even some rap and other mainstream stuff. I like anything that I feel requires talent and skill to write, play or produce. I'm probably a little nuts, but I'm apparently funny with it, though you'll have to get to know me to understand my humour. Feel free to add me, I love meeting people and making them laugh.
Emma
Emma is my incredible girlfriend. She is really beautiful, but even her astonishingly good looks can't match her personality. She makes me smile like you would never believe, she is funny and so caring. She makes my life so much more fun, and I think of her all of the time. Her kisses are impossibly fantastic, her smile and her eyes make me melt so much - I can't explain how amazing she is. She has no idea how much she means to me. I love her.
The Mates
These guys may be slightly insane, but they form the best group of losers you'll ever meet. Allow me to introduce them, in no particular order...
Jonathan Dafter
Ah, good ol' Dafter. Quiet, kind, generous... But oh so stupid =] The man who spent his whole time at Emmanuel College in the ownage firing line, he now resides in Newcastle College while undergoing therapy for what we did to him.
Jeremy Shiel(d)
Known as "Jizz" to his mates, he's the Irish farmboy of the group. Having a nasty sense of humour, he has seemingly replaced Dafter as the butt of the owns and practical jokes. He also has eight brothers, and his mother is his sister, apparently.
Jamie Dewing
Aww, bless the little twin. Dewin' receives a substantial amount of abuse from us because of his identity crisis, and I'll admit we all feel rather guilty about it. Nah, that's a lie. Although admittedly, he is certainly getting to be a good guitarist. Watch this space!
Jonathan "Planky" Blackburn
Nicknamed "Planky" for being as thick as two planks, the name stuck and he has maintained both the name and the reputation to this day. Plank has a great sense of humour, although admittedly his jokes leave something to be desired. Also a good guitarist, Plank can be seen playing classic rock in The Three Tuns. Badly.
Shaun Proud
OK, I'll get this over with quickly. Shaun is not what you would call "thin". Every possible joke to do with his weight has been done to death, so I won't bother with them. What I will say is that he's a sarcastic git. And he feckin' knows it. You fat bastard.
Samuel "Chris Pébé" Wright
Now, before you ask why Sam is nicknamed Chris Pébé, I don't know. It just happened. Sam, although rather camp, is a great guy with a good sense of humour. He has a good taste in comedy too. He's taken a fair amount of stick over the years, but he has now shown he has the brains and metrosexuality to deal with that sort of shit. N.B. He waves his hands around a lot.
Nicky Dafter
Jonathan's cousin Nicky, the genuine arsehole of the group, hates everyone. With a disturbing sense of humour that is so sick it's funny, he is also a very good bass player. He is almost as musically obsessed as me, and he has a great knowledge of musical theory. He also likes to make fun of people, and is co-founder of the MANOS.
Joseph Gallagher
What can I say about little Joe? Well, he's little. And he used to be a Christian but converted to Atheism, presumably because of Nicky's continuous insults. He is rather critical of everyone and everything, but that's OK. We understand and will gain retribution one day...
