Cattiva (meaning "naughty girl") is currently a 4 piece rock act fronted by Aussie chick Jai Simeone. Previously, Jai has toured with Sir Elton John, worked alongside the likes of Sting, Rick Parfitt, Pete Cox, and Madonna. Her quick wit and sassiness, also landed Jai positions, hosting a number of events and tv shows for VH1, BBC1, ITV and MTV, as well as touring Austraila, USA, Canada and Asia as a singer in her own right...although she has been penning tunes consistantly over the years, the shape of CATTIVA only took form a couple of years ago. Orignially a 5 piece (and it may be again... never say never! haha...)Jai first started putting it all together with the amazing Gaz Jackson on lead guitar - who has since left to concentrate on a new career as "daddy" ;-) - Today CATTIVA's line up consists of some of London's most talented musicians, with Marc Mulhall on guitar, David J on bass and Kevin Hawkes on drums ( who recently replaced the fab Mik Claridge) The band's onstage chemistry, together, with the infectious energy and powerful vocals of front woman Jai, have secured CATTIVA gigs at top London venues such as, The Borderline, Barfly, Rock Garden, Pop, Soho Lounge/Gossips, The Gate, Woody's, The Marquee Club, The Dublin Castle, The Water Rats, and The Bullet Bar...With new material being recorded, and some rocking gigs lined up for 2008, CATTIVA get to do what they do best... ROCK!
