Music For The Living Heart Donor

Reunion of the Holy Freaks of Sts Peter and Paul

About Me

Music for the Living Heart Donor was started as, and continues to be, about creating music that I like, at least as much music as a technically unskilled musician can create. The sounds are partly defined by the equipment at hand, and the content seems to largely come from some undefined place. Some of it turns out really well and some of it does not.

But, that's the fun of it.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: web.mac.com/trashstar
Band Members: Music for the Living Heart Donor is Vince Huber
Influences: the style of Sonic Youth; the heart-felt punk ethic of Mike Watt; the beauty in motion of Diosa; the ability to reinvent oneself ala Coltrane and still in awe of the unparalleled talent of Adrian Belew. You could also toss in a bit of the spirit (or spirits) of Carlos Castaneda for good measure. Of course, I sound nothing like any of them...but that's just a trifling detail.

Great music in Niigata.

I'm drunk. This is either the best time or the worst time to post an entry, depending on who you ask. However, since no one is asking, I'll just assume you're cool with it. Okay?My opinion of Niigata, ...

Tonic (Radio Edit) has arried

I had the pant legs taken up on Tonic, and it just came back today. The short version is basically the opening, middle and end of the long one, with the boring parts cut out. Have a listen. If you're ...

Hey Check-this!

I was persuaded to put up some of my old songs online. And, the first wave of filling in the spinach is done. It's not the canonical list, that nobody would want to hear, but it is at least the songs ...

Tromesque Reloaded

I remixed Tromesque and Kakebuton (at least relative to what was posted a few days ago). Both are better and much more enjoyable now. Have fun, and listen in.

Kakebuton Ho!

Hey, this is just a quick note to tell you about my new song. Kakebuton. It's good...at least I like it. Give it a whirl.
