Chandon "DVINE" Sanders started rapping when he was five because of a Kris Kross cassette that he had heard. Soon after becoming exposed to hip hop DVINE couldn't get enough of all the different types of rap and hip hop. With DVINE's main influences being Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg he became infatuated with poetic rap and the ability to tell a powerful story over a beat. After the decline of West Coast Rap with Tupac Shakur's death and the dismantle of Death Row Records DVINE moved his main look to the East Coast with DMX, Jadakiss, and Styles P, which is where a lot of people claim DVINE gets his ruggedness in his voice from. With the introduction of Eminem and Dr. Dre's comeback CD 2001 DVINE also became infatuated with complicated rhyme schemes. All these combinations make DVINE one of the most unique rappers in the game currently being able to make club songs, love songs, songs of the world issues, personal songs, and imagination songs which might very well be entirely his own, such as the song "Symphony Of The Dying". DVINE is a soldier for Fort Worth and all of the DFW, Texas, and plans to show the world you dont have to be from LA or NYC to have powerful lyrics just as Chamillionaire, T.I., Young Jeezy, and Ludicris are trying to do. DVINE has done songs with Sielo, Emcee SQ, YG, Big Slug, Trillion, Lil Chill, Kraze, and many more. The most notable performer DVINE is currently working with is Dr. Dre protege Knoc-Turn'al on DVINE's first major album debut "Get It How You Get It". The song with Knoc-Turn'al is called "What We Do", is produced by Vision, and is slotted to be the first single to take DVINE international. DVINE has worked with YG, TMO, Sielio, Vision, and many other producers. DVINE is also a producer himself, but mostly works with other artists and does very few of his own beats. The primary producer for DVINE's "Get It How You Get It" is Vision. While a lot about the album is being kept under wraps, DVINE has said this album is to offer elements from every kind of Rap/Hip Hop. "Get It How You Get It" will be released first quarter 2008. The first single will be "What We Do" Feat. Knoc-Turn'al, so start requesting it on your local radio stations. The video for "What We Do" will be shot and released soon as well so look for that too!!!
