I love the water so sailing, diving and beaches are some of my favourite things, but I also love music and especially live music of all types, have had a bit of an eclectic selection this year so far with Kanye West last month and Rolling Stones in August and lots of little local gigs inbetween as well as supporting my cousin playing down in Soho next month. Am also a bit of a boozer so you'll often find me propping up bars out and about, pretending I'm still ok to drink mid week and get into work. Well I'm still young aren't I............................
Anyone really..............say something interesting that catches my eye.......excite me with your interests........... or make me laugh till my belly aches..... and you never know I may well get in touch.
Like I said proper eclectic.........everything from Pink Floyd to Roy Ayers, Run DMC to Faithless, Rolling Stones to St Germaine. I play the saxophone so love a bit of Jazz and funky sounds, but get me in a club and drop a bit of cheesey house and I'll probably still dance........you have to, don't you!! (Not like the old days though is it ............... anyone who remembers Gods Kitchen and Gatecrasher circa 98 will know what I mean).
If I said Top Gun and Dirty Dancing would you think I was sad?? and Withnail and I.......................Don't do anything without the gloves!!!!
Am a bit of a Lost addict at the mo have been getting series 2 sent over from the States so we can keep up..............also am loving Shameless this year................................and shamefully I got really into Celebrity Come Icing (or similar) you have to admit it was good.
I read loads of stuff everything from pure Danielle Steele style trash to auto biographical stuff. Fave's over the last frew years have been Bill Bryson for travel writing that is laugh out loud funny, Yann Martel for his compelling tales( read Life of Pi ) and Paulo Ceuhlo for a beautiful meaningful tales. I'm reading something by Ranulph Fiennes at the mo, The Secret Hunters, I'll let you know what I think.
