About Me



For the last six years, FoR ThE ChOSEn FeW have been trying to build a bridge suspended between pop-rock and distorted ambient post-rock. Sharing The Cure or Joy Division's noirceur, reconstructing on stage cathedrals of noise akin to Lift To Experience's or Godspeed You! Black Emperor's, to drown in the dream melancholy of Piano Magic or Slowdive. No clear direction but the will to create and experiment.

It all started as a one-man band in 1997, three years later a name was chosen, and in 2002 the band started with 4 members. First album was issued in 2004, entitled My City Of Ruins.

Late 2005, the band expanded to 5 people.
