I am an average guy on surface but a lot more complicated once you get to know me. I live the typical suburban life in central New Jersey with my wonderful wife, amazingly cute 3 1/2 year old and 9 month old daughters. I have a pet dog, cat, and fish. I work in Information Technology for a large media firm. Unfortunately I work at night which leaves me somewhat out of synch with the world around me. It also makes me relate more to vampires, werewolves, and things that go bump in the night.
Besides my regular job, if you base what you are on what you do and not so much on how much you get paid for it, how often you do it, or how good you are at it, I am also a computer consultant, songwriter, music producer, painter, union activist, and electrician. I also won a Pulitzer Prize but that is another story.
I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Unfortuantely lack of funds and work and family obligations puts a lot of things on the back burner. I am a big movie buff. Love to travel and enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, skiing, white water rafting/canoeing, scuba diving and fishing. I enjoy fine dining and discovering new restaurants with my wife. I also collect a lot of stuff which bugs my wife. I have small to large collections of the following: stamps, coins, comic books, beer mugs, sci-fi magazines, matchbooks and rocks (yes rocks) I have a love/hate relationship with computers and all things electronic. My guilty pleasure is playing Grand Theft Auto and other violent video games.
I am a huge music fan and enjoy at least a little of all types of music. I like to see live performances whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy creating music. I dabble a little with keyboards and percussion but most of my musical creations have come from my PC.
