Movies:

Princess Bride; Boondock Saints; Shawshank Redemption; About a Boy; The Incredibles; The Double Life of Veronique; Enchanted April; The Little Princess (remake); Como Agua Para Chocolate; Amelie; Burnt by the Sun... just depends on my mood and my company....

Television:

Who's got time for TV when there's a whole wide world to explore/experience???

Books:

Sabbath: Restoring the Sacred Rhythm of Rest ~Wayne Muller; Ishmael ~Daniel Quinn; The Chalice & The Blade ~Riane Eisler; Walden ~Henry D. Thoreau; Harry Potter Series ~JK Rowling; Holy Bible; Einstein's Brain ~Mark Olshaker; The Selfish Gene ~Richard Dawkins... but truth be told: "I don't really read books" *lol*

Heroes:

Lyubov' vsyo preodoleyet. As far as heroes go... I figure there are two kinds: the selfless humanitarians and the self-absorbed individualists. As far as the former, Mother Theresa tops my list. And as for the latter, right now it would have to be my younger sister, Mikal (musician, songwriter, artist-of-life, renaissance woman). If I had to pick a boy... over time, Dr. C. Everett Koop, MD has been my long-time role model.
