Big Bear, Pasadena, Redlands, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Monica, Venice, Yucaipa.
Much Bronx love to all my homies who helped me discover my inner West Coast Gangsta lean.
If you've experienced the discomfort of one wall-climbing harness, you've experienced the discomfort of one wall-climbing harness too many.
I'm a proud Bronx/Soundview-born Spic.
For the politically correct: I'm a NUYORICAN - that's a New Yorker whose parents were both born on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
For Rican kids who grew up in The Bronx during the crack era that was the '80s through the '90s, that's short for Spanish Person In Control. (ahem...) Wepa, nena!
I've got the chiselled body of LL Cool J and the brilliant theoretically tortured mind of Stephen Hawking... or is that the other way around? Maybe it's more in the vein of: Doughy like that Pilsbury guy.
Take notice girls: I am a good-natured and fun-loving lunatic.
My sense of humor is slow-roasted, constantly basted and seasoned just right - que sabroso!

My Interests

My Family, My Friends, My Borough, My City, Good times, Zombies, Drinking, Movies, Assorted Doo-Dads, Zombies, Music, Dancing, Partying, Stuff, Food, Miscellaneous Thing-A-Ma-Jigs, Friends, Social Change, Zombies, Bars, The Bronx, New York, Fun, Random Whosits and whatsits and various other things of that nature. Oh yeah, Zombies too...

I'd like to meet:

The guy who did all of the voice work for Altered Beast: "Rise from your grave..."

The brain (and brawn) behind the Flowbee - and somebody who's actually used it.

And, last... but certainly not least... my boys Mike and Deacon... come home, daddy misses you.

Music:

Hip-hop, Rock, Latin, Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, New Wave, Trip-Hop, Electronica, Funk/Soul, Punk, Post-Punk, Metal, Hardcore, Indie. All of it fused together, whatever. Does that cover all the key words? I mean, who cares really. If you're that focused on this part of my profile I probably won't like you anyway. What? You're still reading on? Okay then. God damn it. I mean shit man, really. Fucking homeless circus clowns are out there starving because they can't even land a gig at some little bastard's suburban birthday party. And all you can think about is what fucking music I listen to? Shame on you, man. Damn.

Movies:

I own a lot of DVDs and watch a lot of movies, but I'm far from some sort of film school jerk-off who waxes pretentious on the beauty of fucking Cinema Verite while drinking mocha lattes in front of the Film Forum or Anthology Film Archive. I'm simply a dork who just happens to enjoy the moving images. Here's some keywords and shit: Scorsese, Melville, Dassin, Leone, Lang, Kurosawa, Romero, Raimi, Cronenberg, Lynch, Brooks, Kubrick, Fulci, Argento, Coen Bros, Some French Shit, Some Italian Shit, Some Spanish Shit, an occassionaly Ukranian Shit Nugget, Hitchcock, Jackson, Gilliam, Looney Tunes, Classic Disney, Fleisher, Universal Horror, Artsy, Zombies, Quirky, Cult, Gore, Kung-Fu, Camp, Samurai, animation, etc...

Television:

I honestly don't watch much television (I hate commercial breaks), but I've been known to appreciate the following when not keeping the TV tuned to History, Discovery, Food or the occassional home makeover show (yeah, I know you watch 'em too): Mystery Science Theater 3000, Monty Python, Late Night w/Conan O' Brien, Daily Show, The Simpsons, Futurama, Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack, Samurai Champloo, Classic 'Toons, Popeye, Seinfeld, Scrubs, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Chappelle Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Boondocks

Books:

We Took The Streets, Down These Mean Streets, A Puerto Rican In New York, The Way It Was and Other Sketches, The Onion, Boondocks, Modern Humorist, Good Omens, Batman, Hellboy, Punisher, Comics, Mind Over Matters, A Year at the Movies, Bomba to Hip-hop, New York Ricans, Back in the Bronx, 722 Miles, The Beautiful Bronx, The NY Times, magazines: Mass Appeal, WYWS, Vice, Complex and anything else that'll win me hip-points.

Heroes:

My Parents. My Brother. My Family. And the many Captains who have provided me light when faced with nothing but darkness: Captain America, Captain Planet, Captain Lou Albano, Captain Morgan, Captain Power, Cap'n Crunch, Captain Kangaroo, Captain Kirk, and Sargeant Slaughter.
