We're an Independent record label started in 2006 by three members of the band February Falls (R.I.P). Bassist Christopher James (Owner, A&R, Artist Development), Drummer Nicholas Thiffault , and Guitarist Ryan Keen , who owns the house we had planned to put on shows at for the summer, make a few bucks, and mostly party and have some fun. After one show, and a couple of months passing, Christopher decided to transform the entire business plan into a record label. We now have our Marketing, Merchandise, Art, and New Media, A&R, and Artist Development departments in full swing, and we stand today as strong as ever, and aren't going anywhere. We're now home to a few local South Jersey bands. Some that are slowly but surely working on projects to look out for, real masterpieces in our eyes, and some that are already out in the local scene, playing all the shows in the area, and kicking ass at it who will definitely be releasing something you need to add to your collection. More importantly, at the moment we're venturing out of state, and are on the look out for bands putting out decent releases and touring their asses off. Also, we're trying to get our hands in the hiphop scene, find the shows, the artists, and the businesses that support them so we can hook up, talk business, and get behind these rappers you need to hear. If any of that describes you, hit us up, we'd love to hear you, and if you're what we're looking for, we'll get our departments working on getting you fully backed by House 38 Records, no doubt. Stay on the look out for us, we were put here for a reason, and we wont stop until our artists and future artists leave an everlasting impression on every ear that comes across a product of House 38 Records.

House 38 Records News:
- 2/17/07 - Please excuse our absence for the past few weeks as we've been off to somewhat of a rocky start on the new plans. The biggest project we've been working on is redirecting our top priorities in promotion efforts as we couldnt take on a deal with The Fourth Avenue for the time being. However, the reunion of Writing Allison is off to a great start, almost perfect as a matter of fact, as well as the work on 'Hearts, Hopes, and Dreams 1: From This Side Of The Pane' from The Autopsy. Also, within the week our page should be finished with all of the necessary updates, and all that cool stuff you guys like.
- 1/24/07 - Today as you can all see, the page is under construction as we're preparing for a full web campaign to promote the Jersey Jams Compilation with AllStar Productions. Any bands wanting on the compilation can get in their last second mp3's by the end of tonite @myspace.com/allstarproductionsnj. I'd suggest doing it if you were thinking not to because this release is going to get a fuckload of play at all local South Jersey shows, and is even being considered for Distribution in New York.
- 1/22/07 - Today has come with great news that not only tells us South Jerseys own AllStar Productions is officially managing our new media department, but that we will be blowing up as we've now decided to team up with them on their Compilation CD/DVD Jersey Jams. It will include all of our areas best bands, and is getting all efforts from all areas of House 38 as well as Allstar. We will have more updates after we discuss the details and Chris has a few meetings with the different departments.
- 1/20/07 - We've just found our Merch and Art departments. They are now officially managed by Nasty Clothing. Look out for this company, their shit is Nasty, and will be The Clothing Line House 38 Records gets to put its name on.
- 1/17/07 - We've just recently taken in a few bands from South Jersey you need to keep your eye on. Slowly but surely they are putting together projects that will be must haves. They are Delta, a metal quintet with wicked intent ready to burst forth on their upcoming release under House 38. Also, The Autopsy, Christopher and Ryans duo, an off-shoot of February Falls with acoustics, electronics, and concepts that'll blow your mind. Look out for their upcoming release "Hearts, Hopes, and Dreams EP" right here on House 38. Last but not least, if you're from Glassboro, Clayton, or surrounding areas, you might recognize the name Writing Allison. Word is, they're having a reunion with all of the original members. If you know them, you know what that means, and if it just so happens to be, it will be right here. So look out, you might just be suprised.
