I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

..
Chuck & Huck Campaign AdSomeday is here, I have a great career, and I’m living life to the full. In my off time, I enjoy getting out and playing tennis, jogging, biking, going to the YMCA, hiking, going on road trips, eating out, baking, watching movies, dancing, bowling and playing pool. I love it here in the Pacific Northwest. It’s fun to hangout at Mount Hood, Mount Saint Helens, the Columbia River Gorge, the beach and all the other awesome near by places. Traveling is also a blast and I’m excited about some possible upcoming trips to Africa and the Philippines.Currently I’m working in Clark County Washington providing geotechnical and engineering geology services. My career is an adventure and daily I’m exploring and traveling all over the county. Before this, I worked at Mount Hood National Forest as a geologist. So it’s fair to say that I have an adventurous life and many unique stories to tell. With that said, I’m down to earth, practical, educated, hard working, loyal and responsible. I’m a fun loving, confidant, compassionate, assertive geek. Anything I set my mind to is achievable including working on my weaknesses. For example, I can laugh at myself, tell a good joke and I’m even developing a fun loving witty side and for me none of this comes natural.Saying “no” is something I do far more then I like but I pick my battles very carefully. Before taking a stand I think it over to determine if it’s a battle truly worth fighting for. More often then not, I give people too much of a chance before pulling the plug or having that talk with them. Over the years, I have developed a truly positive image of my friends and I have learned to trust and to expect the best from them. Far too often, I invest years of my time and thousands of dollars into poor friends that often take far more then they give, harm my other relationships and drain the life right out of me. Every relationship is a serious investment and throwing away such investments is extremely wasteful. I value my friendships and expect my friends to show the same level of enthusiasm and commitment. Perhaps my greatest weakness is my compassion and loyalty that keeps me around unhealthy relationships that I truly should cut my losses on and run. I’m slowly learning the error of sticking around these unhealthy relationships but I’m stubborn to do the right thing. When I’m officially dating someone, I stick with them even when a much more amazing person comes along and tries shaking things up. It’s just the right thing to do, it’s my nature. Relational stability and the trust that has come from shared experiences over the years is something I place a high value on. Often I put a lot of thought into what I truly want and then go after it. I am decisive and I want to keep it real...
