Dimitri and Stefan Van Elsen have a past in music production and DJ-ing. In the early nineties they've released several CD's and twelve inches under names as Brain Pilot and Trans-4M, to name but a few (check our website for more details) .

After a few sabbatical years they've joined forces with old-time collaborator and friend Gert Wijninckx on saxophone (Wijninckx appeared on the first Trans-4M CD "Sublunar Oracles") to form Phluff in 1999. With Phluff they've managed to combine their previous experiences in ambient and techno with their mutual passion for jazz and soundtrack music into a fresh new sound.

Phluff's recording efforts have not remained unnoticed. UK producer and DJ LTJ Bukem signed Phluff to his Cooking label and has released "Trailin'" on the Earth vol. 6 and "Fast Movers" on the Soul Obsession compilation.
After the disappearance of Cookin' Records, Phluff have joined up with Sven Van Hees' label, Your Lips .
New tracks are available through the iTunes Music Store from 20 november 2006.
A full CD is planned.

Phluff has taken the next logical step and is ready to bring it's music to a live audience. In an effort to take the music to a higher level they've engaged additional musicians.
