All types, many times whatever I can update from my daughter's I-Pod. Much of the 70's and 80's rock have a familiar grip on my heart. I pick what I like of the current pop stuff off the radio, I like a beat that inspires dancing, though I need a few beers to loosen me up enough to attempt bad dancing. Loud is good, rap is fine as long as it is sexy or has a great beat, nothing gangsta'. Country and Western only on occassion.
Science Fiction, Suspense, anything with lots of Action...you know, Guy-Flicks. If a comedy can make me laugh more than twice I am impressed, much of it goes for the easy line, the easy laugh.
Discovery Channel, Sci-Fi Channel, History Channel, and FOX News, Cartoon Network when my kids say so. Chik flix when my daughter insists!
