Woodstock Folk Festival is a 501-c(3) non-profit organization located in Northern Illinois, about 55 miles NW of Chicago.
We produce an annual summer music festival the 3rd Sunday of every July on the quaint, historic Woodstock Square. In addition, we present seasonal benefit concerts to raise funds for the festival.
The festival started in 1985 as a one time event and has grown over the years. We now offer not only a Main Stage, but have added an Open Stage, a Kids’ Area,
and a Storytelling Stage, as well.
Our focus is on bringing a wide variety of top-notch performers to Northern Illinois - and making it accessible to our community by offering different admissions to our events
(e.g., adult, family, and student/senior pricing).
We have an amazing board of directors who keep things running smoothly. There are five permanent board members (all volunteers) and we enlist the help of countless other
angel volunteers for "day of event" assistance.
2008 marks the 23rd Annual Woodstock Folk Festival, and is shaping up to be quite a remarkable day. Watch this space for details!
