Mike Cloward has been an active participant in the independent music scene for three decades-- first as a musician with the seminal west coast band 28th Day, and then with the founding of Devil in the Woods records in 1983. Priding itself as an artist development label, Devil in the Woods has over 100 releases to its credit. In 1998, Mike founded DIW Magazine which enjoyed a very successful eight year run before calling it a day in late 2006. In 2007, the Lower Class Revolt was launched, a west coast based company dedicated to offering an array of services focused on helping the independent artist achieve and sustain a successful career in music. Devil in the Woods records is still alive and well with its 120th release on the foreseeable horizon.
