I am a percussionist based in the South East of Ireland. I'm principally into the music of Brazil, particularly the Afro-Brazilian end of it. I am but a tourist to this rich beautiful musical form . My path is a rich and enjoyable one, and I'm proud to call quite a few people my friends. many of those people have been brought into my life through my passion for Brazilian musicIm currently musical director with Kilkenny's Afro-Brazilian Street Carnvial group as well as ONÇA- an ensemble playing darker afro-Brazil grooves with the smallest hint of a contemporary twist (the sort that is inevatible when westerners get their hands on this inspirational music form) . I play with street performance group 'The Mad Hatters' and do a little session work with other groups.
