»-(¯..v..¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯..v..¯)-« Music has been my passion since a very young age....I’ve performed and listened to all kinds....It is a true international bond and healer....I’ve had the opportunity to play in 27 countries and the experiences and people i’ve met have been indescribable.....I mainly make my living as a guitar player and singer,but write my own music as well....I hit the road at 17 with a full blown horn/funk band and haven’t stopped since.....I was granted a scholarship to go to the Hartford Conservatory and studied there for 2 years where I learned alot of things that have helped me in "legit" situations....I then went to Springfield,Mass and started some popular rock bands..."Maniax" and "Mostly Holy" with some members of "Staind"...."Mostly Holy landed a full blown record deal with "BMG"....In the midst of that I played lead guitar for Canadian metal heads "Helix" for some serious world traveling.... I then moved to NYC where I put together a band called "Coolidge" and also a group called "BlakeMattingly".....They were great bands and I made alot of friends in the scene....I eventually landed on Broadway and went nuts playing in 9 different shows including "Fosse",Hairspray", and "Aida".....I was also subbing in the Billy Joel show "Movin’ Out" and was asked to play on the national tour.....I accepted and have been pretty much on the road for the last 3 years.....mostly the U.S. but also jaunts to Japan,Canada and Hawaii.....also, it’s given me the opportunity to perform with Billy 6 or 7 times...I’m finally back in NYC and couldn’t be happier working on new material and singing with "The Starlight Orchestras"............I’ve been a songwriter for years and that is my true dream....I’ve been elected to the ASCAP Advanced Songwriters Workshop,ASCAP’S Mentor Program,have had songs recorded by several unsigned artists,released a solo cd called "Pieces" and presently have 4 cuts on one of Ireland’s acclamed artists Darren Holden’s new album "Roadworks"...........................................I&rsqu o;m presently appearing in a brand new off broadway play called "Attorney For The Damned" at the Kraine Theater in the east village....it’s very dark and fun and cool to be working with my buds Rob McCullough and Pat Mattingly.....here’s the website http://attorneyforthedamned-rockmusical.comThanks for visiting and check out a tune or two and most of all be my friend!
