I am a 35yr old Male with Tourette Syndrome. I was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 28, and am still getting used to all the different things that it presents. Tourette Syndrome causes Tics that could include eye blinking, lip smacking, nose twitching, body jerks and numerous other things like Vocal Tics, barking, yelping, coughing, squeeking and all sorts of things too numerous to mention. Between 10 to 20% of Tourette syndrome sufferers have what is known as Copralalia which is what always seem to make the Headlines, Copralalia is the aspect of T.S that makes people swear or shout Socially unacceptale words out loud.
I am into Music, I will listen to almost any type. I especially like Hip Hop, Pink Floyd, 60s, 70s and 80s music, I also love alternative cover versions (the stranger the better). I love RETRO I love it, love it, LOVE IT. I am so glad that they have been bringing out CLASSIC CULT KIDS DVDs.........Anyone remember Hartley Hare?? Ahh The memories of a scabby, flee ridden puppet keeping the likes of me quiet for a while, mind you it was cheaper than a Baby Sitter in the 70s lol.
