About Me

I am a son of Tswane in the NOthern Part of the Republic of South Africa. It seems strange that my Mother and Father chose this a their location for love making instead of a place like Detroit, London or Tennesee. How easily my life could have been different. Alas, here in the sun I like to sing songs that I have written or heard other people sing with friends and strangers who pass my life by.Having played in musical troups amongsts the like of Eve's POsture, Velvet and the Horse and Havana Pepper...My focus resting on our group here in the city GreenACre. All things to an end, folk music lives under the new name of ‘Like Good Wine’.I have worked in spring of 2007 with a friend of mine on my new tracks and I am glad to come off it thinking next year could be really healthy and folk fat. Once again I have opted for violin and guitar, just adding some mandolin in occasionally. The album is not available in shops and can only be purchased at a show. But it is a folk grassroots snifter of the live performances in town around. The blues sound from the early 20th century intrigues me and it is from this well I draw most pleasure and inspiration.I want to be one of the Mississippi sheiks in a next life.Vana
