Your Future Ex - Boyfriend

I am 37 years old and currently living in the Portland area. I have spent the last two years working as a quality control inspector for a window company. Busting my ass for pennies and little to no appreciation. I was entertaining the thought of running my own business and planned to take a few weeks off....To put my feet up and sleep in sometimes....Enjoy life a little more.
But, things didn't quite happen that way, so I guess it's back to square one. Currently, I'm going back to school to pursue a better jobby job, er, I mean career in nursing so I can get to the next level and make things better for myself and my chillins'(children). I know technically you're supposed to say that spiele the other way, but realistically, I can't take care of my children if I can't take care of myself, comprende'? Great, now you see where I'm coming from!!!
After starting at the afore mentioned job as a temp and working my way up to lead operator, (getting the sh*t end of the stick along the way, I may add!) I decided to really evaluate my life and see where it was going, since the only way to get promoted at that place was to screw the production manager or be a friggin' drug addict. Unfortunately, my tittys were too small and I'm not a crackhead, so I guess that says it all. I finally figured that if I was going to get ahead without being passed over for bullsh*t, I'll have to work to get something that NO ONE could take away, which is why I am now working towards my degree.
Slow process is better than no process at all, right?? Amen....!
I have children, I guess enough to start a small war, (smile!). Just J/K, but I try and spend time with my youngest child Andrew every weekend and do something constructive with him, but most of the time we just end up doing things that are fun. My other children, Ave', Kristopher and Marissa are in St. Louis. I haven't been able to see them for a while, but definately will this fall.
I pride myself on trying my level best to be a good father figure. I hope when my kids grow up they realize that.

Just like Daddy....... the boy is 6 and his main interests in life are video games, cars and cell phones!! LOL!!

Invite Your Audience Carefully....
Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives.
There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a DISTANCE.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of, or at least minimize your time with, draining, negative, incompatible,not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention.
Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of Your Life.
"If you cannot change the people around you, CHANGE the people you are around."
Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income. And so we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds.
We should not share our dreams with negative people, Nor feed our dreams with negative thoughts.
So, I ask the question: Who's in your front row?
