June Bennett came together with Butch Dillion to produce her first CD in 1999. The project included five standards and five new songs penned by June, Dillion, and pianist Carlton Taylor. Together with well known basist Jim Ferguson, the songs were recorded and released on her record "Recipe for Love".June feels that romance has to be kept alive for a marriage to flurish. Recording these songs was just a small part in making her dream come alive and sharing her inpiration with others.
