Here's a link to MyRealSite: jeanegan.com
If you click on the link, don't worry, I'm not phishing. Just thought I'd share my site. I keep up with that blog more than I do with my MySpace blog. It's under the "fun" section.
I appreciate art, of course! Then, let's see, being outside in the sunshine. Hiking, biking, tennis, walk/running (soon to be run/walking). Hmm... Let's see, reading and comedy... Being in the company of good friends and having fun times. Other than that, I'm kinda boring! (Damn, did I type that or just think that?)
I'd like to meet the person who coded this thing and slap 'em for making it so cryptic to try and modify.
(Thanks to Danielle and her "I'd like to meet" for the construction of that sentence.)
It's pretty cool to see other people on MySpace who like some of the same music as I do.
My all time favorite artist is Laurie Anderson. I learned about her via my friend Joe down in Austin Texas.
I've always liked Paul McCartney, and for some strange reason Neil Diamond. I can’t remember how I began to like these 2 artists.
I LOVE blues music - Stevie Ray Vaughan, Koko Taylor, Etta James, B.B. King and Muddy Waters are some names I can recall. I think I really started loving blues when I lived down in Austin, Texas. Jim and I used to go to “blues on the green†gatherings, where you could pack a picnic lunch and enjoy some great live blues. Not to mention the live blues streaming out of most restaurants and bars on 6th street.
I also really enjoy a variety of classical music – I have and enjoy some Bach, Beethoven, Bizet, Chopin, Debussy, Karl Jenkins, Mozart, Pachelbel, Paul McCartney (Yes, that’s right.) and Stravinsky. My classical library is pretty spotty, and I really would love to gain more in this area. Aso worthy of note - although I don’t know much about it - I love the cello playing of Yo Yo Ma. Also of great note is Justin R. Durbin. He is on MySpace, and classifies himself as “"Upliftingly Dark Cinematic Film and Game Composerâ€. Here’s a link. Amazing stuff:

Going through my iTunes library, the artists that I could listen to practically any time are as follows: Bel Canto, Björk*, Cake*, Camper Van Beethoven, Cure, Ink Spots, Nellie McKay*, Morrissey*, Pink Floyd, R.E.M. and James Taylor.
Some cool bands that I really like but aren't in my "can listen to anytime" category: 10,000 Maniacs*, B-52's*, Cardigans*, Cranberries*, Eurythmics, Fat Boy Slim*, Iron Maiden, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Norah Jones, King Missile III, Kitchens Of Distinction, Peggy Lee*, Madonna, Anya Marina, Meja, Pink Martini*, Neutral Milk Hotel, New Order, Poi Dog Pondering, Smiths*, Squirrel Nut Zippers* and Unsung Zeros.
I've recently been listening to the following while walk/running: Air*, Chemical Brothers*, Crystal Method*, The Fireman, Orbital and music from the Pi Soundtrack (many techno artists.)
Songs that are in my iTunes library, but I tend to skip over - WHY DO I KEEP THESE? Something about them...
Dokken (How did this get on my iTunes library?!), Phish (I’ve NEVER liked this group, or the Greatful Dead, for that matter...), Rage Against The Machine (again, where did this come from?), The Residents (sooo creepy, COOL, but you HAVE to be in the mood for CREEPY, ZOMBIE-LIKE music), System of a Down (again, how did I get this?!), White Stripes (I like punk, but this is too harsh for me.)
* All of the bands that Jim introduced me to have an asterisk next to them.
