i live on a beautiful green island near Tacoma washington and it's like 1975 here. The only way to get here is by boat, airplane, or swim. That's what keeps things mellow. We have grey skies alot, but the big trees, tranquility, and the vibe make up for that. when the sun does shine, our little island sparkles like a jewel. I look out my window and see big douglas firs, the puget sound, and the beach across the water. There aren't many houses in my neighborhood and the last working fishing boats on the island are tied up at the end of my street. Eagles and osprey are common sights and every once in awhile an otter will be seen running through my yard. We have deer, coyotes, and sometimes black bear will stop here on their swim across the sound. Orca pods swim around the island too. Everyday is saturday here so i continue to have the big adventure. Still seeking that perfect wave..it's just around the corner....There is a large community of artists and musicians on the island and quite a few old school "hippies". Hmmm...its really quite nice if you don't have to commute over town. :-)
I was born on an airforce base near spokannibas, raised on the east coast, and devoted the first part of my life travelling west.It seems that i happened to arrive at a lot of places, just as they blossomed into creative counter=culture communities. I decided to travel to maui in late 1971, and spent the better part of 10 years living there. I carry the history of my tribe, from Atlantis to Zion. Storyteller by nature i spin the threads of events, weaving tapestries of the Dreamtime. We are all connected by our heartbeats, the rythym of the spheres, glorious symphonies of the divine . So much more, but that's for later. More on my blog. What's your story?
