Anderson is my hero- Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, & Punch Drunk Love. Anything Stanley Kubrick ever directed. The movies by the Coen brothers as well. As well as all those other movies everyone lists and some they don't: Donnie Darko, The Heights, Royal Tenebaums, Good Will Hunting, American Beauty, Chumscrubber, Run Lola Run, Talented Mr. Ripley, Thumbsucker, Igby Goes Down, Love Actually, A River Runs Through It, Mean Creek, Playing by Heart, Bully, Saved, My Life Without Me, Elephant, Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, Imaginary Hereos, and all the others on my DVD shelves.
Twin Peaks is the best show ever, but since it hasn't been on the air for over 10 years here are some others: Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Dailey Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lost, Nip Tuck, Weeds, Entourage, The Sopranos, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sex and the City, Project Runway, anything that has the words Real World in them (i know, guilty plessure), Desperate Housewives, Six Feet Under, The Office, Felicity, and soo many more that my DVR hates me.
