Keyboard Choir - 'Bugs'
BAND: keyboardchoir AT hotmail DOT com

Keyboard Choir is the collective name for Ady, Alex, Guy, James, Seb and Woody, six musicians who make music with the turbulence and dynamics of traditional 'ensemble' performances from purely electronic sound sources and 'found sound'. Having formed in late 2004, we played shows around the south of England, including headline shows in Oxford, Cambridge and London alongside support slots with Coldcut, Metronomy, The Egg, Fuck Buttons and Frank Turner amongst others. We have also appeared twice at Truck Festival in Steventon, Oxfordshire. If you were there and saw a band full of keyboard players being attacked by a crew of aggressive looking cardboard robots, then you saw us.
When we started we toyed with the idea of being a loose, random collective with people coming and going but it didn't work, it was too loose and random. We got our act together and in late 2006/early 2007 we began recording what was to become our debut album, 'Mizen Head to Gascanane Sound', put to tape (or in our case, hard disk) in South-western Ireland, and named after the area. The album was released on Brainlove Records in 2008.
