About Me

I am a nurse and sometimes that is all that defines me. However other times I am a mom, a lover, a dancer and artist. I would love to travel and see the world one day. I am a hopeless romantic and love being "in love". As I get older I learn new things about myself all the time. I just recently realized that I am a stuffer. You know the type too busy to deal with this or that emotion. I help people everyday deal with the death or the health of their loved ones. I am a giver and forget to take care of the caregiver at tims. So I am redefining me and trying to stay sane at the same time!!! LOL!This is a playlist of songs that are important to me or that I think are just plain fun. Enjoy!

Liam Kyle Sullivan http://liamshow.com/I have this hatred for this word and will greatly restrain myself, when people say it, from wrapping my hands around them and choking them to death. So when I found this I thought that it help to put into words in some way why it incites such violence in me......

Music:

I love all kinds of music. Music is my lifeline at times. I love to dance so anything that makes me want to move my feet. My father taught me to dance when I was little. It makes my heart sing to dance. All right so here are a few....Creed, Black Eyed Peas, Disturbed, Beyonce, Clint Black, System of a Down, Fastball, Cake, Phish, Placebo....this list could go on and on and on....LOL!

Movies:

Any of the comics made movies that are out right now! I love horror, science fiction, action, chick flicks (hey I am one!!) B movies....the list is endless. It also helps that my other half is a movie nut and has spent the last few years catching me up! Usually you could name it and I wouldn't have seen it.

Television:

ER, discovery channel, the learning channel, any of the news channels (I seem to enjoy watching and complaining about politics lately) although I never have a whole lot of time to watch TV I would rather be listening to music or talking with friends or people.

Books:

Anything between two hard covers except for romance novels. I love to read. I have so many books and not enough time to read them all right now.

Heroes:

My mother...despite all the odds and all the hardships she endured she never once let me go without. Now that I am older I realize just how hard she must have worked to accomplish that. She died in 2002 from colon cancer but I still miss her and have many I want my mommie moments. My Father who taught me to never meet a stranger, who gave me my concept of the devine and taught me never to be a sheeple. They both had a hand in teaching me to be my own person, to follow my dreams and to never let anyone tell you "you can't".This was perfect my parents always said this phrase to me and I love this:EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be; your roommate, your neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.And sometimes things happen to you and at the time they seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never have realized your potential, strength, will power of heart.Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments or true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of the soul.Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smooth paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life and successes and downfalls you experience, they are the ones who create who you are. Even the bad experience can be learned from... Those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones.If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart... forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.~~ Author Unknown ~~TO my other hero!!! LOVE YOU!
