A great man once said “movies are not to entertain you, there made to tell a story and if you don’t remember the story then it has not done its job†Martin Scorsese 1998.That has been stuck in my head ever since. Yes I like the great Master Director Martin Scorsese. I have been a fan and a student of the man and the legend from his first major film Mean Streets starting Robert De Nero. I watched as the two grew together and developed in to a team that no one has ever achieved. With all the actors that have come and gone and still remain not one can lay to claim to this teams successes. Now the student has become one of the masters. De Nero is now an claimed Director and it’s his own right and it’s time to carry the torch that he watched in the majestic art of Scorsese for so long.
Now about me; my name is Nickolas and I am a very privet man. I was born May 11th of the year 1969 in southern Germany from a Persian father and an Armenian mother. I was raised in Tehran, Iran were I spent the school years and summers in Germany and later Greece and Turkey. My Father; was one of the Greatest film makers in Persian Cinema and still to this day he remains in Iran with his art form. We where not a Muslim family but, Orthodox Christians which after the revolution of 1979 did not help matters for my family in Iran. I was sent to America to attend school with my older brother in Dallas, Texas. I was 8 years old at the time and spent one hard year with out my parents. I was to go back to Europe but my brother SOMEHOW convinced my parents to settle in Texas. Now when I look back I can not understand why we did not live in New York or back in Europe, well that’s done and now 29 years later it dose not matter for I have grown in to the man I am today. I am a good Father and a good husband working hard in the Film and Television industry with a name for my self. It’s not much compared to people like my Father, but it’s what life handed me and I made the best of it
