Ghost Notes "By Any Means Necessary"

"Destiny Is Not Left Up To Chance, It's A Choice!"

About Me

Born in the turbulent streets of the Glass City (Toledo, Ohio), Ghost Notes grew up in both trying and good times. His father, a well known hair dresser to some and hustler to others, give Ghost Notes a good life for his youthful years. Allowing him to be blessed with some of the finer things. In the late 80s, his father became addicted to drugs. This would expose Ghost to another life. One that which forced him to grow up faster than most children, and adapt to things he never had been exposed to.Living between crack houses and his grandmothers home gave ghost a wide array of influences growing up. His father (being a hairdresser, hustler, and then a fiend) exposed him to a whole new slew of characters; ranging from pimps, business owners, and drug dealers. Watching his role models either becoming locked up, killed, or prospering showed Ghost that there are consequences for your actions. And, that the streets and life is not a glamorous Hollywood movie.Ghost was exposed to Hip-Hop in the early 80s, when he would watch his older brother and cousins break dance, freestyle, and bring home the latest Hip-Hop records. He soon found that music was his escape. Of which he began enjoying to play around with the old grand piano at his grandmothers home, or simply watch his brother his group, Rhyme Time, put songs together. The way Ghost had grown up thus far set the stage for who he was becoming: lost, hurt, and turned out. Ghost, himself, then turned to the streets. Soon after, his mother would relocate to Columbus, Ohio for a chance at a better life. But, trouble would follow there. His mother, having become of it, took Ghost back to Toledo to live with his father, who was now trying to get clean. This trip proved to be fatal for her. Ghost's mother got into a car accident, which burned over 60% of her body.Even more lost, hurt, and confused, Ghost found new outlets for his pain: poetry and making others laugh. After being thrown out of high school for his sense of humor and his hot head, Ghost ran with the only thing that was constant in his life: Trouble. Ghost's grandmother would later tell him that if he soon did not fix his life, it would end. Hearing these words and witnessing what was going on around him, Ghost would seize the opportunity to leave Toledo. Which was also when his mother was released from the hospital after being there for almost 3 years.Soon after leaving Toledo, Ghost received a settlement and began traveling, doing things and having items that he could never have growing up. When he returned to Columbus, he found something that he had not had while growing up: Love. After being a relationship a number of years, his girlfriend would convinced him to go college; something that he had not thought about, largely due to the fact that he was a high school drop out. In college, he found something that he was naturally good at: computers. Soon, he would return to the one thing that saved him while going through his trenches in life: Music. Finding which programs that he could use to create songs gave him, and his music, a whole new chance to develop and grow.After living through a break up, going broke, and seeing that he had a bunch of "leeches" around him, Ghost found himself alone and down to a few close people; allowing him to see that money is not the key to happiness. He regrouped and choses to pursue music full heartedly. His younger brother Dre P., from another mother, was trying to start a rapping career with his friends. This gave Ghost the opportunity to showcase his music by creating beats for them. Ghost's father, after being clean and back to being a successful business man, soon took interest in what his sons where doing. He would fund their costs, pay for their demo, and put together a show for their group(which consisted of Dre P., Infamous, Danny, and Amber) at the Bijou night club.Seeing that he had something, Ghost's father, Daryle Parr, used his connections to get both Dre P and Infamous an audition for Shawn Stockman of the group Boyz II Men. The meeting took place inside of a hotel in Detroit. Liking what he heard, Mr. Stockman then signed both Dre P. and Infamous to his Soul Chemistry Projects label. Currently, Ghost works with his brother Dre P. solely. Yet, there are a few other artists, his cousin Chosen being one of them, that he is assisting on helping them get noticed in the musical world. Be on the look out for Ghost Notes, a triple threat: Producer, Rapper, and Prophet.";
