I adore my children and grandchildren. I love to travel, especially to the mountains. Art and music are very important to me. My head is always assigning theme songs to each different senario of my life, just like in the movies! I like to shop at the thrift stores. I love animals, dogs are great people. We have two of them, one large, one small, variety is great!
I love music...too many to name...alot depends on my mood & where I'm at in life.
I like alot of old and older movies. "The Godfather" trilogy, "Goodfellows" for gangster flicks. "Some Like It Hot" always makes me laugh. "It Happened One Night" for light romantic comedy. "The Color Purple" when I wanna cry. "Steel Magnolias" when only a chick flick will do. "Snatch" is one I enjoy watching over and over. "Blue Velvet" when I need quirky. "Deliverance" when I feel like drama. "Young Frankenstein" for utterly silly! I like surreal things and have been venturing into some movies in that category.
I rarely have the time or inclination for it these days.
"Illusions, The Adventures of a Relucant Messiah" by Richard Bach , "Dune" by Frank Herbert, "The Stand" by Stephen King, "The Vampire Chronicles" and "The Mayfair Witches" by Anne Rice, "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo, "The Art Of Living" by Epictetus, "Dhammapada" classic Buddhist stuff...strange stuff.
My son Aaron, because he's smart and talented and creative and unique and never afraid to be himself. My daughter Brooke because she is wise beyond her years and the creator of 2 of the most wonderous of all creatures ever to grace the face of the earth. My friend SueAnn who has perservered more than most, through the most horrific of circumstances, and still has the ability to smile sweetly and laugh with every ounce of her being. She has taught me more about living than anyone I have ever met.
