I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a 42 year old married woman who recently experienced a shock of a lifetime! Yes folks, me, queen of shocks, got the big one! I was due to have a hysterectomy on May 23, 2006 and instead on the day of surgery, discovered I was 7 weeks pregnant! Now keep in mind I had been told since my early 20's that I could never get pregnant without the aid of fertility pills! Now here is where I will add that I have an 11 and 15 year old that I took fertility meds for 7 years to have! (I also lost my first baby, a girl, at 5.5 months due to an incompetent cervix.) I know this seems like a "Smile, You're on Candid Camera" moment, but I can assure you it is all real! So, here I am, married for 23 years, 3 boys, and a great career. Of course, I wasn't planning on having a new little one, but it seems God had different plans for me! We will take it one day at a time and I am sure it will be the blessing we have waited for! I firmly believe I am not give more than He thinks I can handle! :)

Where Did I go wrong?

Sometimes you have to just spill your guts and see it in black and white to grasp it all.  At least that is what I grew up believing.  Being a Mom is the most rewarding yet difficult thing I...
