About me...well, I have come to the conclusion that life is ever changing and with these changes a new person emerges, a little at a time, every day..but at heart I am a down to earth, fun-loving person who is at her best when I'm surrounded with people I love, peace and harmony (aka NO DRAMA!!!) and when I'm feeling that I'm loved as much as I love...I'm going to be 35 soon but I'm really nothing but a big kid at heart, I find humor in things that a 5 year old would laugh at..but that's me..;) I am a nurse so I'm serious when I have to be, but I try not to take things too seriously when I don't have to...What do I take seriously? Firstly, my daughter..she is just about 16 years old and she is the biggest joy in my life..but also the biggest pain in my ass..never did I imagine when she was such a cute, cuddly, and infectiously happy baby that she would turn into the oftentimes sarcastic and sullen creature that she is 99% of the time at this point in her life..however, I was once a teen and I probably wasn't much better so I'll just dig in for the ride, alternately tightening and loosening the reins as needed..LOL I just hope that she knows that as much as we can argue and dislike each other..I ALWAYS love her 150% and every day that brings me closer to her leaving the nest and becoming an adult makes me sadder than she could ever imagine..(OK almost in tears now..see why I never stay serious? It's depressing! LOL)Secondly, I FINALLY found the man that I know is my forever and always....one year down and forever and our whole lifetime to go!! Taw is the best..he's straight up honest, treats me with respect, he is kind, generous and funny..he's INCREDIBLE with handling my daughter and so understanding of everything in our past and how it affects us in the now..he has taught me to respect and stand up for myself, for once I am with a man who understands me when I get on an intellectual, philosophical jag and I don't have to play dumb to carry on a conversation..we have many of the same interests and yet enough different ones to keep us from getting bored with each other. He has a 6 year old son that I absolutely adore..that lil man has definitely added an element to my life that I was missing..it has been incredible relearning to see the world through the eyes of little children..everything is so simple and uncomplicated..it's all about love and fun..I think we all need to hang around little ones..it keeps things in perspective!!My best friend..Heather..she is amazingly strong, beautiful, so full of life..she's teaching me to be a stronger and more independent soul and has been there to help me through so much..She has become like a sister to me,and I don't know what I would do without her there by my side when I need her!! She has another special soul in her daughter Kendra..she is the most intelligent 4 year old lil spitfire I have ever met..again..hanging with those little angels really makes life alot more interesting!!
All of my closest friends not mentioned above..La, Frankie,Julie, Gary, Carrieann and Kev, Suey, Tam Tam..you guys are amazing and love me for me!!!! For that fact alone you get mad props cuz I know dealing with me..just aint easy sometimes!! :) Thanks for always being there and being real!!
