About Me

***I WILL NO LONGER BE CHECKING THIS INBOX.***
Sorry, but between work, 3 email accounts, and LiveJournal, I just don't have the time! :P (Don't be offended if comments aren't promptly returned, either... Honestly, I would delete this account altogether, but it has been nice to be able to touch base with old friends I haven't seen in ages. As a dating service, though, I've found myspace is generally teh suck. :)
If you would like to contact me, even to just say hi (and aren't just some random tool after booty), please email me directly at [email protected]. Then, if you ask nicely, I just might give you the links to my blog and photography sites. :D
___________________________________________________________
Recently finished grad school, hooray! I am now a freelance Naming and Writing Specialist for Landor (a major international branding firm), in NYC. I miss all my great friends in Atlanta, but it just isn't for me. Hooray for the Big Apple: everything all the time!
I am: a UGA grad with a degree in magazines; a grad of the Portfolio Center design program; a writer, singer, designer, and wannabe artist and photographer. What I fear most: mediocrity. What I want more than anything: to free myself from doubt, regret, and fear by realizing my own truths - and learning to embrace everything this crazy life has to offer. As my friend Parker would say, "I'm kinda cool... but I kinda suck." ;)

My Interests

Music, travel, reading, writing, singing, outdoor recreation (caving, rafting, riding, climbing, hiking, etc.), creativity and self-expression, pushing boundaries, libertarianism, quantum psychology (perception=reality), metaphysics, intoxicated discussions of lofty intellectual topics, studying gradual shifts in societal consciousness and values, learning, psychedelia, androgyny, feeling sorry for myself, animals, anime, art, psychology, cats, the environment, dancing, design, dreams, editing, europe, expanding my mind, experimentation, foreign languages, good food, good conversation, honesty, horses, dragons, dolphins, kink, laughing my ass off, nature, the mountains, new orleans, new york city, old houses, parks, partying, pets, photography, photoshop, preraphaelite paintings, pro-choice, raves, savannah, sleeping, wine, art nouveau... people who actually read this shit before messaging me about hooking up with "freaky redheads"... ;P

I'd like to meet:

Not really looking to meet anyone, unless you're an old acquaintance... Or if you happen to be fun hipster-type in the Williamsburg area. (I'm still a relative n00bie in town, and would like to regain some semblance of a social group!) Watching all the circles of friends smoking and passing wine around in McCarren park every evening makes me jealous! ;PAs for me: Everything I do, I do all the way, whether it be work, play, or have a conversation. I love learning and self-expression, I am very work-hard-play-hard, and I sometimes tend toward extremes. (No, I'm not any crazier than you are. I think I know myself fairly well, though there is always much to learn!) What I care about: who you are as a person, what gets you up in the morning, what you crave and fear in life - and sharing myself with kindred spirits, be they friend or lover.

If you're not intelligent, creative, and extremely open-minded, trust me - don't bother. But if you're the type of person who enjoys in-depth exploration of yourself, others, and the world, I'm listening. :)

You can say it one more time -
What you don't like.
Let me hear it one more time, then
Have a seat while I
Take to the sky.
