Peace to the Gods of the Earth,What up ya'll, my real name is Nav Sewak, my production name is Sun Logic.Im a Indian kat that was born in Fiji. I lived there till I was 8 yrs old then moved to Vancouver B.C. Canada. I lived there for 8 yrs as well and when I turned 16 my family and I moved to Cali.Ive been a musician since I was about 13 years old. My first instrument was a bass guitar which I learned to play in Highschool. Eventually learned to play the drums, piano, and electric guitar as well. Ive always been heavily influenced by HipHop culture and Rap music. I found that I could relate to what most REAL emcees expressed, if a song has a dope beat and meaningful lyrics then it feels kinda like a masterpiece to me.I live in the west coast, SF Bay area, east bay to be exact, in a town called Hayward. The radio airwaves on the west coast are constantly being bombarded by bullshit rap music. Simple 4/4 beats that are looped over wack ass vocals. As I progessed as a musician and producer, I began to experiment with all sorts of music to create HipHop. I found myself sampling alot of the time, because I like to take a piece of music that means something to me, and mold it in the way I see fit. In that sense, I get told alot that my music has a very east coast sound to it. Ironic huh? I live in the west but I think with a eastern mind.In the last 4 of years of my life, I've become really serious with my music. I KNOW that Im ready for the next step, which is getting in the industry and working with REAL serious artists.
