About Me

Imagine the southern sound of a raspy northerner mixed with the slick lyrics of a city girl. Well, this is what you get when you listen to the voice of Nebraska's own, Franklyn. Since the age of seven, this songbird has been cultivating hearts with her beautiful voice, and positive lyrics. From the basement to the field and from the field to the church, her love for music has blossomed. With numerous talent shows and personal performances the overwhelming response from the public is that, Franklyn has to be heard. After moving to Atlanta to pursue a career in fashion, Franklyn became heavily involved in the pursuit of a music career instead. After collaborations with award winning producers Shekspere and Teddy Bishop, Franklyn cultivated a relationship with hot, up and coming producer Benny Bloc. Their combination of style and lyrics is phenomenal and has led to them working with such great artists as Faith Evans. Together they were able to take her raw, energetic talent and develop it into colorful harmonies, hot songs, and incredible sound recordings. After relocating to California to further pursue her career, Franklyn was asked "What is it that inspires your creativity and sparks your positive, slick sounds?" She responded, "I can look at a shoe hanging from a tree and think about a person that is fed up with life and knows in order to move on they must loose something from their past." With influences from great songwriters/artists such as Stevie Wonder, Babyface and Lonzo Franklin, expect to hear monstrous beats and see vibrant colors that define the unique sound of, Franklyn!
