TeamRokit
Kendo - Bass, Drums, Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals
Born in Honolulu, raised first in Windward Kaneohe, and soon after in Leeward Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Kendo quickly relocated to Los Angeles, where he has performed in virtually every one of the city's major live-music clubs. In 2003, at the invitation of longtime surfing-buddy and bassist David Fuentes of international ska heroes Hepcat, he joined the established lineup of Dubcat, which also features members of Sublime and the Long Beach Dub Allstars. Impressed with the live success of the band in Southern California, Kendo readily transplanted his solo project RiceRokit to San Diego, where it is based today.
DJ Morante - Turntables, Special Effects
Clifford was the runt of the litter, and was chosen by a city child named Emily Elizabeth Howard as her birthday present. No one expected Clifford to grow, but Emily Elizabeth's love for her tiny red puppy changed Clifford dramatically. Before long, he was over 25 feet tall, forcing the Howard family to leave the city and move to the open spaces of Birdwell Island.
Bob Rissolo - Trumpets, Flugelhorns
Born in Atlanta, GA, professional sound engineer and Dutch ambassador "Mix Masta Bob" moved to San Diego in the Summer of 1999, and is now playing his horn in 2 additional, premier San Diego reggae bands: High Tide and Split Finger.
Adam Bausch - Drums
A native San Diegan, Adam is a founding member and original drummer of Ocean Beach heroes and Skunk Records alumni Slightly Stoopid, and has also performed and toured with reggae veteran Eek-a-Mouse.
Rokit Roger - Samurai Spirit, Team Mascot
Great, great, great grandson of the infamous Jolly Roger and eco/animal-rights activist Princess Mononoke of Hokkaido, Japan. After a brief, yet successful career in professional bodybuilding, RR founded the seminal pop/reggae/ska band RiceRokit, along with TeamRokit pirate captain and fellow half-Japanese Renaissance-man, Kendo.
