I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Bass Player/Sax Player. I have been playing bass since 1990. I wanted to get on here and friend as many musicians as possible. Net working is key. I am in the Philly area. Currently, I am looking for a new group to work with. For originals, I would like to get into a Rock/Funk fusion tpe of band. And of course, cover band band music content should be as varied as possible. Before this is I had a gig playing sax in a Army Band. That job took me across the US and through most of Central Europe. Before that I was living in LA for a bit. While I was there I went to Musicians Institute. BIT was a great learning time. I was playing close to 10 hours a day. Before that, I went to IUP as a Music ED/Sax Major. All in all, the biggest reason for making up this page is to network to as many musicans as possible, cause you never know where you're next break is coming and who will help take you there. ..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

So many names. Generally, any prominent bass player is on my list. I used to live in Hollywood, and have met many celebrites. For anyone who has met celebs, you may agree that the experience sucked if they weren't cool people.Jim Morrison- O great creator of being grant us one more hour to perform our art and perfect our lives. Elvis Presley- Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't going away. Bob Marley- My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts. My music will go on forever. Bob Dylan- A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do. Bono- The music that really turns me on is either running toward God or away from God. Both recognize the pivot, that God is at the center of the jaunt. Nina Simone- I demand perfection in what I do and I practice very hard before I give a concert.. sometimes three to six hours a day. Bruce Spingsteen- I was drawn to music that addressed the spirit, probably because my own needed to be addressed. Pablo Picasso-The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web. Leonardo da Vinci- One can have no smaller or greater mastery than mastery of oneself. Salvador Dali- Have no fear of perfection, you'll never reach it. Mark Twain-Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. Lou Holtz- The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely the one who dropped it. Michael Jordan- I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. Tiger Woods- One of the things that my parents have taught me is never listen to other people's expectations. You should live your own life and live up to your own expectations, and those are the only things I really care about. Bruce Lee- If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.
