What you 'see' is what you get. A creative and charismatic guy, Roman grew up shy and quiet, showing promise to posess a creative and somewhat progressive mind . He began singing and dancing at the tender age of four, and would play on his grandmothers' piano and organ, making up songs in his head. At the age of 7 while in Elementary school, Roman would memorize routines and mimick dance videos on MTV and would sometimes perform whole routines from memory, his first dance debut came when the cheerleaders at his then elementary school were performing a dance to 'Ice Ice Baby' and somehow manage to get lil' Roman (then 7 yrs old) out on the gym floor to perform with them. This would be one of the many moments where dance as a means of expression and self-exploration would lead Roman to majoring in dance/choreography in school, realizing this life-long passion late in his 20's. Roman also enjoyed writing and reading, two subjects in which he always excelled in school, which would lead to a hobby of writing poetry and song lyrics. His first short in 6th grade (which was deemed to adult and personally controversial by his then English teacher, Mrs. Gailey) was one of the different ways Roman would use writing as an outlet. He developed a love for writing early on, which was a way to express himself from the inside-out. He developed a creative and imaginable way of thinking that sometimes made him seem odd and unconventional to others. Roman also played in bands and sung in choirs throughout middle school and high school which led to majoring in music in college initially on music scholarships (primarily voice), developing his intense love of music. Apon entering college, he was also blessed with the opportunity to act on stage challenging him yet making him sensitive to another form of art, theatre. Roman, one to engage in conversation, also proved to be good listener, and an influential motivator, even when the motivation might have you led you down the wrong alley! This would propel his deep interest in psychology, sociology, spirituality and awareness. He can be malleable and almost get along with anyone he comes in contact with, yet, somewhat appears flamboyant and histrionic in character and appearance. He always approaches things from a carefree and positive viewpoint. He is somewhat aloof at times, and can be easily described as self-absored, sometimes approaching ideas and leading routines in a somewhat dogmatic approach. At times he prefers solitude in order to rest mentally and physically. However, being a social person, Roman is equally at home with occupying the center of attention (however, even in a room full of people can still keep a sense of privacy and distance between himself and others). He is spiritual and humble, but can seem unwavering and intense when instigated. He is mindful and honest, and sometimes can appear absent-minded. His motto is, Let live, let love, let God, and is at his best when in peaceful and creative environnments. He can be irrational and impulsive at times, and can create quite a stir! Positive and creative, carefree and erratic, Roman always tries to aknowledge the best in people and takes an optimistic and humanitarian approach when engaging with people, and in return wants people to treat him (and everyone else in the world!) as equals. (Hopefully that treatment is loving, honest, respectful and humbled.) However you wish to describe him one thing is certain; Roman marches to the beat of his own drum. (What type of drum it is, many will never know! : ) ) Though life hardships, sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll threatened to take it all, he survived. And this is the beginning of the E! True Hollywood Story! : P
