About Me

So much to tell ... but to start with ... I'm half Korean and half Chamorro born on the island of Guam! Now living in Korea teaching English in a respectable Academy to elementary and middle school students! I've lived a pretty exciting life and it probably started when I was 12, which is when my parents divorced each other. I know things like this shouldn't be mentioned to just anyone, but I feel that it was that time when my life took a big turn to where it has led me now. After the divorce took place I somewhat became a rebel and explored the real world on my own only to discover that that wasn't the person I wanted to be for the rest of my life! I took steps, and with those steps I took precautions... going further down the years of my life taking me to a little college in Haverhill, Massachusetts (Bradford College). So there I was, this little island boy living in a world that I never really thought existed! Or maybe I did but at the time I just didn't care! Everything was small for me until I got to live that experience. My dreams, my hopes, my knowledge and experience were small-minded ... and my perception of the world was small before I got to where I was at. This was a whole new world and life experience that I was just dying to reach out and pick at! Yes, there were times when I made decisions that were bias and was somewhat leading me back to the person I didn't want to be, but for me ... it was GREAT! This was a time in my life I would never forget! -To be continued- ..

My Interests

Get Your Own Map View Larger Map I'm a man of many interests! There are things that I love to do and even though I don't do them now doesn't mean that I have lost my passion for them. -Clubbing- I used to be crazed about going to dance clubs and getting a good work out while I take the stage and sometimes the spot light! I would say my clubbing days hit the fan when I was a college student. Before then I would always need a good buzz before I could muster up the courage to go on the dance floor even though there were hundreds of people around me who didn't give a crap! Since then though, I have come to realize that I go to clubs to have a good time, not to stress out and worry about how others would think about how silly I behave or how I danced! Well, I still cared a little, but not so much to stop me from dancing when I felt like it. Also, it was a great form of working out and who ever says otherwise ... well, your entitled to your opinion. However, recently the dance club scene has seemed to fade away from my idea of a fun night out. I'm more layed back now, but am still up for adventure and excitement! -Traveling- Since I've stepped foot out of my homeland I've developed this drive to travel around the world and visit as many countries as I could and meet as many people as I could. I haven't had much time to do so, but I'm working on it! Ever since I was a little kid, I always used to lose myself in my little world and ask questions like; I wonder what Alyssa Milano is doing right now?..or I would think about how many people there were in the world and each of them have their personal lives going on which I know nothing about. I know there's no way for me to know every individual living today,... but just what if?? Anyway, at least traveling will give me a taste of that satisfaction just by meeting other people and learning about different cultures. If the time is right and I can afford it, I'm always down for traveling! And cooking!! It might sound a little feminine to some of you out there, but truth is is that a man who knows what he's doing in the kitchen knows how to spice up his life! As you probably already know because I've mentioned it several times already, I grew up with my mother and so I learned and gained interest in cooking from her. Now, I appreciate having get togethers and preparing some dishes for my good friends to grub on! So far I haven't had any complaints yet, but I know there are some dishes that I need to work on to improve the taste and it's quality. Other interests that I love and should try to make it a habit to get back into are playing the guitar, billiards, 8&9 ball, bottom fishing, and writing poetry.

That chef is one mean mother! Aside from these, some of the shows I used to watch frequently were The Friends sitcom, Seinfeld sitcom, The Simpsons, Discovery channel, Cops, Married with Children, Fresh Prince of BelAir (I don't think they show that anymore though), Whose line is it, Just for laughs, Just Shoot Me,...
