BIO
If you've been to any of Australia's electronic music institutions like Mad Racket (Sydney), Frigid (Sydney) or Toast (ACT) in recent years, you'll have no doubt come across the thumping, soulful blend of house and wonky electronics that is Alphatown live.
Alphatown have played alongside such world class artists as Derrick May, Mr C and Ben Sims, at the Big Day Out and as residents at the infamous 'Tech-Ni-Kal' nights at Sydney's Chinese Laundry. Not to mention many, many gigs (big and small) with Sydney's best: people like the Mad Racket crew, Future Classic, Hi-Jinks, Biz E, Lorna, Mako, Meem, Motech and all the others whose support and encouragement have been vital ingredients in the band's success. The Alphatown boys have spent most of the winter locked away in the studio, and as always have a whole new swag of material that they're positively itching to unleash on receptive ears.
Live act Alphatown brought the booty shakin' to a dangerous level!
ITM
"There is an email address for bookings and why would you not book them after hearing this furiously catchy and rather fun loving set of scrunch and squelch. You'll be lucky to come across this disc, but you should catch them live and have a top night."
Plastiq Digest
"These guys rocked the fresh beats and bass lines to a packed, house geared, crowd. With an authentic live feel they provided some smooth build-ups and fat bass drops to keep everyone entertained. With the three guys all bouncing, improvising and working together the crowd were appreciative of the clean, crisp, fat drum loops and bass lines"
ITM
"Will be pulling out the dunlop volleys, last time Alphatown played the Kt26ers could'nt handle it!!!!"

"...What a night... highlight was def Alphatowns live set, those guys are so fu*kin cool, wicked deep tech and they have so much energy...."
DJ Trinity
"Alphatown were definitely very impressive, these guys have got a great sound, and they really do look like they're having a great time doing what they do."
